There are many fun things to do in the Natural Bridge State Park Area and Red River Gorge for the whole entire family. From hiking, rock climbing, miles of ATV riding, canoeing, horseback riding to swimming and fishing something is here for everyone. We have listed some of these here for your convenience.
- Red River Gorge:
The Red River Gorge Geological Area consists of approximately 26,000 acres located within the Daniel Boone National Forest. There are scenic drives with overlooks, trails to hike, historic sites to see, picnic areas, and camping open all year. It offers many unique varieties of vegetation and natural rock formations. The Red River Gorge contains the most natural rock formations in one concentrated area east of the Rocky Mountains. The Red River Gorge is also a very popular place for rock climbers with many unique routes for the beginner to the most experienced climber.

- Natural Bridge State Park: Natural Bridge State Resort is home to the great natural sandstone arch that stands like a sentinel over this mountain hideaway. Located in the midst of the Daniel Boone National Forest, near the Red River Gorge Geological Area, the arch spans 78 feet in length and 65 feet in height. Visitors will find this park a kaleidoscope of spectacular natural beauty with each passing season. Activities here include riding the skylift, hiking the trails, swimming, camping, picnicing, shopping at the many shops, and dancing at Hoedown Island. For more information, click here.
- Sky Lift at Natural Bridge State Park: (round-trip ticket) $5.00 Adults, $4.00 Children. Open daily.
Hours: 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Easter Weekend thru October.
A 22 minute round trip ride up to the famous "Natural Bridge". Be sure and walk across and go down underneath thru "Fat Man's Misery".
- Reptile Zoo: $5.00 Adults, $3.00 Children, Under 3 Free. AAA and Seniors 10% Off. Open daily

- Hoe Down Island: $.50 per person (except on special event days).
Hours: 7:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday nights (Saturday is the "BIG" night). Labor Day thru October.

- Swimming Pool: At state park: $4.00 Adults, $3.00 Children. Open Labor Day Weekend (Seasonal).

- Paddle Boats: $8.00 per 1/2 hour, $12.00 per hour.

- Miniature Golf: $2.00 per round.

- Snake Pit: $.50 per person. Open daily.
A screened in pit full of rattlesnakes and copperheads. Located at Daniel Boone Trading Post.
- Ducks at Middlefork Creek: Have a crumb to spare? These ducks are very friendly and very hungry. This creek runs thru the campground and park.
- Antique Museum: Full of interesting items of yesteryear. Deli and groceries. Seasonal.
- Horse Museum: Located at "Golden Arrow".
- "Golden Arrow" Slick Track Race Cars: Big kid size and little kid size go-cart and mini Nascar track.

- Blue Grass Music at Meadow Green Park in Clay City: About a 20 minute drive. Blue Grass music at it's best!

- Mountain Parkway Drive-In Theater: Drive on in for some good ole fashion fun at the drive-in. Located in Stanton (Take Mountain Parkway to Stanton exit, turn right, go to 2nd light and turn right.

- Beech Fork Golf Club: About 20 minutes away in Clay City. Call 606-663-9479 for information.
- MillCreek Lake: Bass fishing. Trout stocked.
- Middlefork Creek: Trout stocked. Fun for the kids to play in. This creek runs through the campground and the state park.
- Daniel Boone Trading Post: Deli and groceries. Fishing licenses. Firewood.
- Ledford's Bait & Tackle: Fishing licenses.
- Miguells Pizza: Rock climbers from all over the world hang out here. All natural home style pizza with tomatoes, pineapples, broccoli, pasta, artichokes, chicken, etc. Seasonal. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Hemlock Lodge Dining Room: Located at the state park. Casual dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch stops at 4:00 P.M. and dinner starts at 5:00 P.M. Seating up until 8:30 P.M. Reservations not taken. Buffets on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Rose's Dairy Bar & Restaurant: Closed on Wednesdays. Seasonal.
- Buffet Pizza, Deli and Groceries: Located at the Chevron gas station.
- Country Boy Auto Repair: Tire Repair. Firewood.
